The 7 Mile Island is bustling with Halloween fun starting this weekend! Below are the event dates and locations. Click the link for more information on all programs happening throughout Avalon & Stone Harbor!

Saturday, October 26

Kids' Havest Festival
Stone Harbor's Downtown Shopping District
Grab the kids and their Halloween costumes for an early chance to trick or treat through the Downtown Shopping District. Shops and businesses will be distributing sweet treats plus crafts and demos, and hay rides throughout the day!

Avalon's Trunk or Treat
5-7pm (Cars must be parked by 4:30pm)
30th Street Parking Lot
Keep the costumes on and keep the fun going by driving over to Avalon's Trunk or Treat program Saturday evening from 5-7pm. (Note: all cars must be parked by 4:30pm and cannot exit until 7pm.) Participants can head to each decorated car for sweet treats, plus a costume parade, prizes, funnel cake, music, caramel apples and more!

Windrift's Annual Halloween Party
Windrift Resort Hotel, 105 80th Street
Have a hauntingly good time at the annual Windrift Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 26 starting at 9pm. Dress in your most creative costume for prizes in categories including Funniest, Most Original, Scariest, Sexiest, Best Group and Best Overall. Enjoy cocktails and entertainment throughout the evening with the BLT Band. Click here for more information and have a spooktacular night!

Avalon Lions Club's Spooktacular Pasta Night
Windrift Resort Hotel
It's no trick! Let the Avalon Lions Club treat you to a delicious and authentic taste of Italy with a Spookghetti and Meatball pasta dinner! Costumes for all ages are encouraged for this annual event, this year coinciding with Halloween just around the corner. Attendees will enjoy dinner and dessert, a silent auction and a great evening supporting the Lions Club. Tickets are available from any member for $17, or $8 for children 12 and under. Tuesday, October 29
Ghost & Paranormal Presentation with South Jersey Ghost Research
Avalon Free Public LIbrary
South Jersey Ghost Research has been helping the haunted and researching the paranormal for 60 years. Their presentation is an informative lecture that covers the different elements of ghost investigating including photos, audio and video of actual investigations.
A 30-minute video will be shown followed by a Q&A session. Click here for more information.

Thursday, October 31
Avalon & Stone Harbor registered participants
Attention Stone Harbor and Avalon property owners! Be sure to register your home to be included in this year's trick-or-treating route! Registration is accepted no later than Friday, Oct. 25. Go to to add your address and Recreation staffing will deliver your wooden pumpkins for display by or on Oct. 31. The pumpkin should be displayed on your lawn or door so children know you are on the route. For participants, maps can be picked up at the Stone Harbor Recreation building after 12pm on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Have a wonderful evening!
